Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Born into the Mormon Church's first family Fawn McKay devoted her brilliant creative writing skills and impressive researching skills in the creation of an outstanding psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled The Only Man Knows My History. The title is derived from an 1844 funeral sermon by the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. No one knows my story. It is not possible for me to reveal it. Fawn 29, a woman of 29 years old, wrote: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have risen to the challenge." These documents are not lacking but they do contradict one with respect to each other. It is a difficult task to put together these documents, separating first-hand accounts from the third-hand versions and then combining Mormon stories with other ones into a coherent mosaic. This is both exciting and instructive. Fawn brodie was professionally dedicated to her work. Thaddeus Stewards, the result from her writing and study, made her a world known writer.
